Hi,previously asked if PR contagoius.I do agree it is caused by a virus because bee my husb I got herald patch we were sick a virus. I am now going on 8 weeks very itchy rash (my husbs doesn't itch)It doesn't seem to be getting better yet.I have been researching on web found some Doctors prescribing a 2 week cse of Erythromycin it seems to clear rash. I would like to know think of have ever heard of it clearing viral rash up?

I have never heard of this treatment and feel skeptical that it will work. A virus does not respond to an antibiotic. Even if you took at and got better, to me that is not proof as you will most likely get better soon anyway. Try taking a lot of vitamins to help support your immune system, such as vitamin C, B complex and perhaps some herbs. Moisturize twice daily.

I have this condition I am a black lady how bad does this rash get and what can i use to clear this up.

The severity varies from person to person. It is usually less noticeable on darker skin. It does not permanently scar. Use lots of moisturizers, and perhaps aloe vera gel. But basically, it has to run its course (6-12 weeks).
