Extreme red itchy rash confined to lower part of body .. back of legs, inside of thighs .. shins, no or symtoms. Predisone relieved symtoms when stopped y returned.

This could be a reaction to a medication, it could be "stress", it could be a viral rash, which would clear up in a few weeks. It also could be an allergic reaction to a cream, etc.
