Hi.. My boyfriend has a wart on his h he is treating over--counter remover. My question is can be spread through sexual contact can we get genital herpes from it? I just recently found out warts caused by herpes virus so I am kind of worried we will get herpes. Thanks Kari J.

Warts are not caused by the herpes virus, they are caused by the wart virus. They are totally different viruses and one will not cause the other. There is a possibility to get genital warts, although that is unlikely since the virus strain for genital warts is different from the strain on the hand.
