Knotted Varicose veins on the top of my right foot

Post a new topicby SoreFoot on Thu Aug 30, 2007 6:41 pm

I have Knotted Varicose veins on the top of my right foot that are causing me great distress. At this time I am using support stockings. Is it uncommon for a 64 year old man to come down with these symptoms?

no varicose veins are associated with aging

It is now getting to the point that I cannot walk. I am on a fixed income and have no coverage. Please advise.

You could try compression stockings

At this time I am using Futuro medium reinforced toe/heel Support Socks. Is this the same as "compression stockings'? If so, should I try stronger than 'medium'?
