blood test for diagnosis of skin cancer?

    Post a new topicby lisa1981 on Fri Jul 10, 2009 9:32 pm

i live in spain and my doctor has only a basic level of the english language so the info i get off her is very vague.

i said i was worried i have skin cancer because of sm suspicious moles i have and have read online about symptoms and believe i have a few.

    anyway better get checked out

i was just wondering why she has told me to have a blood test next week ?

is this to detect cancer cells? she didnt explain why

also said the blood test would be to test for high chlorlestorol etc...so is this just a formal MOT??

at first she said i would need to go tot a private consultant at the hospital...

    confused....any ideas anyone?
