Someone I know has a mole has recently erupted, has grown out from skin, has become itchy, sore, bleeds a little. We going to have it looked at next week, in mean time, is re any explanation sudden change besides skin cancer? I just don't want to expect worst if re is anor possible explanation, I would like to rest a little easier until we able to be seen by dermatologist. Thanks.

More likely, the mole got irritated. Sometimes there is no reason for the irritation and it just seems to occur. This is more likely than skin cancer. Please see the doctor anyway.
