    Lichen Planopilaris

Post a new topicby UZUME on Sat Aug 01, 2009 6:21 pm

I was diagnosed with LP approximately 4 years ago but it must have been present for several years before that. My hair is now noticeable thinning on top due to the scarring alopecia caused.

I keep hearing reports of how LP disappears on its own but does anyone have any information on how long that could be? Has anyone had it and never had it disappear? Are there any useful tips from others who have found alternative ways of controlling the inflammation etc?

    Any advice/info gratefully received.

    Thanks
