Before I had the surgery I could only raise my right arm halfway and that was because of the abscesses that I had and I could raise my left arm a little more than that and not to mention the odor. When the doctor told me the surgery wasn't a guaranteed cure I was willing to take that chance because of the pain and discomfort I was in. When the doctor went in to remove my sweat glands my right arm was much worse than my left so I have a lot bigger scar and I didn't find out until my home health nurse started coming out that he'd removed some tumors. It took my leg about 6 wks to heal from the skin graft but it was well worth it becuase I no longer get them under my arms. I get them in other places but so far it hasn't been nearly as bad.
