It started as pain in the neck and back and in the last three months has become a nightmare because now I also have the following issues: Head is sore where skull and spine connect, sore shoulders, sore arms, sore hips, sore knees, nerve pain in left leg (even the fan blowing on my foot hurt...Read the full article

Well, I saw an Neurologist yesterday and she was not able to help either. All I heard was I can't, I can't, I can't...I walked out crying. My family doctor is having me a pain management doctor tomorrow...I hope this doctor will help me. I also saw a psychotherapist today and she diagnoised me with acute stress disorder from all this.

You have to keep complaining don`t give up I saw a pain mangement doctor as well don`t let them tell you it is in your head because it is not it is enough to drive you crazy have you tried stretching
stretch out and it will help as you need to get the blood flow to that area of pain as it is lactic acid that is causing the pain and blood flow to that area helps disolve it and the stress makes it worse so try to stretch it will helpWith this diorder your body makes too much lactic acid like when you go for a run and then you get the pain from too much excercise and then the chronic tireness and when you are in the cold it hurst worse I hope this info helps you cheers

Well I went and saw the pain management doctor today and was diagnosed with Fibro, he also found the problems in my back that the spine doctor couldn't. For the Fibro I was given a prescription for Cymbalta...I hope it works. Question though..the work accident triggered the Fibro but didn't cause it..do you think work comp will cover the costs for treatment and prescriptions?

If the inccident related to work, you are elegigle to get worker comp if your doctor strongly believe that the kind of pain coming from fibromyplagia; fibromyplagia occurs after the incident. Good luck.
