i have had what i think is dermatitis on my scalp for 7 months. it started out as a small patch and grew larger. i had this about 10 years ago and it healed by itself in a short time. i am using selsun blue shampoo and am seeing a small improvement, however i am losing a lot of hair. what can i do to stop the hair loss while i am treating this condition?

You may need some cortisone lotion. Try over the counter strenght first. You can also try aloe vera gel and tea tree oil. Shampoo every one or two days.
