hi i have small minor acne scars recently i noticed it started getting red around scars. my whole face is clear except se small scars. i maintain my face very well scars just annoying. i cover my face lightly clearasil 10% every night including over scars. could be reason it's irritating as around scars? also i've heard of a product called Mederma in it fades away scars it really works i'm thinking about getting. will product help me? do recommend anything similar cause i can't afd dermabrasion or surgical procedures. thanks.

The 10% benzoyl peroxide could be irritating you. I recommend applying 2.5% instead. Also, it is ok to apply benzoyl peroxide every other night too. See how you do with this after a month. Mederma will probably not do a whole lot, but if you are not better after a month then go ahead and try it on one side and then compare it with the other untreated side.
