My son suffered from high liver enzymes, fatigue, and a variety of other ailments and symptoms after taking minocycline for 6-9 months. After taking him to several doctors over a period of six months, I determined, after searching the Web, that it was the minocycline causing his problems. Six months after discontinuing the minocycline, he is pretty much back to normal without any other treatment. Users of this drug, commonly prescribed for acne should be aware of these side effects.
